Food for Fertility
This class helps you prepare for getting pregnant. Improving your fertility through food and preparing your body to conceive and maintain a healthy pregnancy. Previous and current birth control and resulting nutritional needs will be discussed. Be the best you can be and let us show you how. Partners welcome.
Nourish The Glow Appropriate at any stage in your pregnancy.
How to nurture your body as it grows with your pregnancy. This class talks about healthy eating in pregnancy. Suggestions for how to deal with common symptoms related to pregnancy. Vitamins and supplements will be discussed. Partners welcome.
4th Trimester Food Birth-5 months
Nutrition for breastfeeding and after baby. Preparing for the next few months until baby starts solid food. This class focuses on teaching you how to optimize your nutrition to help your body heal from having your baby and to help nourish you and your baby. Babies welcome.
Adventures in Solids 5 months- 12 months
Nutrition for your baby. This class focuses on introducing solids, using a baby led approach. Forming a feeding relationship with your baby and providing healthy nourishing food. Timing of introducing new foods and how to start feeding and continue feeding baby are all discussed.
Food For Tot 1-4 years
Is mealtime stressful for your family? Do you have a ‘picky’ eater or are you trying to prevent having one? Does your child not eat at meals or do you find them eating only certain foods? No more reminding your kids to eat their meals or rewarding them to do so. No more hiding vegetables. In this class you will learn about letting go and empowering your kids to know when they are hungry or full. Start having more relaxing family meals without making special meals just to get your little one to eat.
Dishing Out The Control: Child Nutrition 5-12 years
Has your child moved on from toddlerhood yet you find yourself constantly battling at meal times? Do you end up bribing and begging to get your child to eat? Does forcing them to try vegetables or hiding them seem to be the only way they will eat them? Learn how to make your child a successful eater and avoid these mealtime battles. Learn how to help prevent disordered eating such as struggling with emotional eating, being overweight, or eating disorders. This is a hands-on class. Ideas of what to pack for your child at school and other activities will also be included.
Backpack Snacks
This workshop focuses on how to provide healthy snacks for children. Providing snacks and environments that are allergy friendly is a main focus in this workshop. Mealtime struggles are discussed and the role of the child and caregiver in feeding relationships. Topics such as sugar and salt are demonstrated in an active learning environment. This workshop is appropriate for parents, caregivers, nannies, and childcare providers.
From Aisle to Pantry
This workshop is a tour of a grocery store. Healthy eating for all ages is discussed. Topics covered include marketing and how it affects what we buy, eat and nurture ourselves and our children with. Tours available for parents/caregivers and/or children.
Mindfully Eating your way to health after pregnancy
Group:
Often when you have kids you put everyone else before yourself. You may have thought about trying to get your eating on track but everything else seems to take priority. Learn about what mindful eating is and how it can work for you. This is not a diet and will not be about avoiding certain foods.
You will learn to:

This is not a diet program. It’s not about cutting calories or avoiding certain foods. Over the course of this series you will learn about mindful eating. The goal is to achieve sustainable changes with your eating. This can be started after you have your baby and even when you are breastfeeding.
*It is not required to have taken the group before the series, although many people prefer to.
For all services, Nurture The Future Nutrition requires payment in full, and in advance. Appointments can be rescheduled with 24 hour notice.
For any sessions and packages purchased, there is a 6 month time limit to use the appointments, unless otherwise noted at the time of purchase.
